Each representative walks in for her country, in the dress of her culture.

Speaking before the jury: expression, ideas, vision and commitment.

Singing, dance, spoken word, creation: what each one does best.

Runway
The official walks of the evening, stage presence and poise.

Deliberation
The jury withdraws, deliberates, and the finalists are announced.
Scoring
Ten criteria, ten per cent each
The ranking does not rest on the stage alone: ten criteria are scored throughout the journey, from general knowledge to social project. The detail is published on the jury page.

One crown, one mandate
The new Africa Royal Queen receives the official crown and sash, then becomes the programme's ambassador for a year. Additional titles and special prizes are awarded the same evening.

Monrovia, Liberia
The final is held at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia. The host country opens its beaches, its forest and its history to the delegations for the whole week.
